Potentiation of the Lethal Effect of Endotoxin by Heterologous Plasma

The intravenous injection of endotoxin in human plasma into rabbits produces a marked potentiation of lethal effect, when compared to the mortality associated with comparable doses of endotoxin in saline alone.
